DOES GOD'S WORLD WORK?

The events in the church in Texas several Sundays ago was horrible. No one questions that. The news media has been focused on this event, giving us all the details, for much of the time. There has been an outpouring of support for the victims and their families from all over the country.

The country is filled with sadness.

Yet, I haven’t heard of any other churches in the United States have anything like that happen on that Sunday.

So, one can conclude that at least“Freedom of Religion” work very well in our country on that day.

In fact, it works very well for most people in most churches every Sunday.

We can thank the foresight of the framers of our constitution and their belief in God for this.

At what point do we express PURE JOY AND EXHILARATION AND THANKSGIVING for what’s working to the same extent as we do for sadness and grief.

Don’t we owe that to our creator? And to ourselves?

When do we remember that we consider GOD PERFECT. And thus, God’s creation must be perfect.

At the center of all religions rest one thing. A mandate to BE KIND.

We have so many opportunities to do this each day.

When do we get to the point of taking advantage of them?
