Appreciation
Appreciation
"Of all the positive things I've been blessed to contribute, I think THE one I'll be remembered for most, is my signature line. 'Thanks. I appreciate you.'
I first wrote that, because I meant it, and to train myself to mean it more... Much more. I also made a conscious choice between the words gratitude and appreciation.
Gratitude means, "the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness."
Appreciation means, "the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something... Gratitude for something... A full understanding of a situation. But it also means one(actually two) more things that make it special.
When we "appreciate"something we recognize it's full worth.
And when an asset (such as collectible art, stocks or real estate investments) rises in value or price, we say it "appreciates."
Appreciation is ever-increasing. Given that our greatest assets in Life & Work are ourRelationships, Friendships and Partnerships (especially in Network Marketing)
Appreciating people is a very good thing."
John Milton Fogg in The Greatest Networker.
The secret to changing your life is to wake up every morning being grateful and then to appreciate someone. The someone that needs the appreciation is almost always the first person that comes to your mind.
Just let them know how you feel about them. It will make their day!
